Everyone has his or her favorite places to hang out. Mine are mostly in conjunction with music, poetry or just darn good stories. One of my favorite sites is owned and maintained by a friend of mine who lives out in the sticks in Northern Louisiana, Junior Doughty. This site is run by a guy who likes to call himself the Blue Genie, and it is dedicated to the enhancement and nurturing of the Blues in and around Baton Rouge. It has grown from its very tiny 6 or 7 members back in May of 1999 to over 100. Interest in the Blues is universal, and The Baton Rouge area has some of the finest........ Blues You Can Use - BTRBlues The poetry site that I find to be a great place to share your work, is the Maelstrom.
